Sinusitis comes in several forms and in varying degrees of severity. Sometimes sufferers are unaware that they have the disease. They may be aware of a parent who has it, or a sibling, they may also tell you that they always get a runny nose when they have a cold; even more often they will tell you they are allergic to many things – but that they don’t have sinus trouble.

Symptoms of sinus also include a dull thick headache that hurts over the forehead and an aching face – symptoms which are usually worse when the weather changes – and what the sufferer needs is sinus herbs not headache herbs.

WHY IS IT DEBILITATING?

The patient with sinusitis has a head full of rubbish. Whether it is dry or wet doesn’t matter. They don’t smell things very well, often smell only bad smells, and frequently they can’t taste their food very well either.

People with wet sinuses have to blow their noses a lot. It is often embarrassing for them to do this in the hearing of others, so they swallow and infect much more of their digestive tracts. Many periods of the sinus sufferer’s life are spent with a nasal drip, and when they lie down at night it is much, much worse. Often they don’t sleep well because they have to wake to blow their noses (or worse, use sprays that just suppress what is happening and cure nothing). They sleep with their mouths open and wake with dry mouths, sore throats, and usually rise unrefreshed. They snore, and often in their worst stages they need a room to themselves. Worse than snoring, they often don’t breath regularly, and then their lives are at risk.
